The Magic of the Frog and Fly
Fluffy the Frog loves flies and he eats them all day. But Fluffy discovered
a better way to catch flies than just using his tongue. Fluffy covered his
lily pad with honey to attract flies and now he is full. The Frog and the Fly
is a clever vanish and appearance of a 7 inch fly into a lily pad. For a
climax the fly appears inside the frog’s backpack while the spectator is
holding it. Great magic and a great story line combined into winning
entertainment with a moral.
The silkworm and the spider contest
The silkworm and the spider make the world’s strongest threads but they
argue about whose is the best. The ladybug proposes a contest to determine
which string is really stronger and the battle begins. Two kids from the
audience assist with the magic of the bugs. Each pulls their thread to see
which will break first. The thread magically stretches to 12 feet across the
stage. The ladybug declares the contest a “tie” and offers the moral to the
story. She also makes reference to the library books we read enhancing our
inner strength .
